Continuing Education Requirements
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made prior to 14 days of an event or course will be entitled to a full refund. Cancellations made prior to 7 days but less than 14 days will be entitled to a 50% refund. No refund will be made for cancellations or for those who fail to attend if notice is less than 7 days prior to an event.

Upon receiving their designation, members shall be required to complete nine credit hours of continuing education annually. Additionally, three of the nine hours must be in the category of either ethics, insurance, or safety. All courses must be sanctioned in advance by the state office to be eligible. No extra course credits may be carried forward from one year to the next. In addition, the following shall qualify as continuing education credits:
1) Attendance at the NAHB National Convention (IBS) - 1 credits
2) Attendance at 3 or more local General Membership Meetings per year - 1 credit
3) Courses and Seminars offered by NAHB
4) Courses and seminars presented by the State and Local Associations
5) All courses approved by either the Real Estate Commission or State Appraisers Association as Corresponding continuing education for their members credit hours
